Renato Frey is one of the winners of the Vontobel Award for Research on Age(ing)
The Vontobel Foundation supports outstanding young scientists in the field of gerontological research.
Renato Frey, Adjunct Researcher at the Center for Adaptive Rationality of the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, is one of the winners of this year’s Vontobel Award for Research on Age(ing). He received the second prize for his research on decision making in old age, in which he was able to show that older adults are as capable as younger adults at making everyday decisions. The principal goal of the Vontobel Award for Research on Age(ing), endowed by the Vontobel Foundation, is to support outstanding young scientists in the field of gerontological research. The prize is awarded to researchers who live in Switzerland or have close links with the country.
