Gerd Gigerenzer was named Fellow of the Asia-Pacific AI Association 

The AAIA recognizes scientific achievements in the field of artificial intelligence

Gerd Gigerenzer, Director Emeritus of the Max Planck Institute for Human Development and Director of the Harding Center for Risk Literacy at the University of Potsdam, has been elected a Fellow of the Asia-Pacific AI Association. Gerd Gigerenzer is one of the leading scientists in the field of bounded rationality and social intelligence with outstanding achievements, the Asia-Pacific AI Association explains its decision.

The Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (AAIA) is an academic, non-profit, non-governmental organisation founded in Hong Kong in 2021 by academics from around the world. The main mission of AAIA is to empower scholars in AI and other fields worldwide to promote the development and application of AI through academic research, academic exchanges and education, as well as academic publications, summer/winter camps and other activities.
