Research Data & Information

As part of the scientific infrastructure, the Research Data & Information (RDI) department offers a wide range of services related to scientific publications and research data. This paves the way for efficient and effective research work and for the best possible visibility of research results. By promoting and actively implementing Open Science, the department also contributes to interdisciplinary and cross–border scientific cooperation.

The RDI service portfolio includes comprehensive services and tools for research data management, information retrieval, documentation and visualization of the Institute's research achievements, scientific publishing (especially in Open Access), and impact optimization. The department is also responsible for providing analog and digital information to researchers and research support staff. The collection focuses on computer science, education, history, psychology, cognitive neuroscience, sociology, and related fields.

The digital and analog media and information offerings are developed and maintained in line with the Institute's research profile. The collection currently includes approximately 230,000 volumes, a large number of e-books, a small selection of print journals, and several thousand electronic journals, in addition to numerous databases.

The library is open to the public as a reference library in accordance with our user regulations.
