Gert G. Wagner one of Germany’s most influential economists

Since 2013, the FAZ has ranked the performance of the 100 leading economists in Germany.

Max Planck Fellow Gert G. Wagner has once again been named one of Germany’s most influential economists in the annual ranking published by the newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (F.A.Z.). For a number of years in a row, Gert G. Wagner has maintained a top twenty position in the ranking. Since 2013, the FAZ has ranked the performance of the 100 leading economists in Germany in terms of their media presence, citations in academic literature, and political influence.
