Bernhard Spitzer has been awarded a Consolidator Grant by the European Research Council (ERC)

With the ERC Consolidator Grant, the EU is supporting promising scientists.

Bernhard Spitzer, Senior Research Scientist in the Center for Adaptive Rationality, has been awarded a Consolidator Grant by the European Research Council (ERC). Funded by the European Union, ERC Consolidator Grants provide outstanding researchers embarking on an independent research career with funding of up to €2 million.

With the grant, Bernhard Spitzer and his team will investigate how the brain dynamically reshapes information in working memory to suit current demands, and how the underlying neural processes develop across the lifespan.
