Studies with Children and Adolescents

Verzauberte Lebensmittel - Online Study

The Max Planck Research Group Naturalistic Social Cognition is interested in how children learn properties (e.g. edible or non-edible) from plant foods. Your child will be shown a series of sets of pictures, e.g. of three fruits. For each set the researchers will mention properties to your child (for example, that the first fruit is edible and the second fruit is not edible) and then ask her/ him whether the third fruit is edible or not.

Age Group: Children aged between 4 and 5 years inclusive.
Prerequisite for participating: The child hears (and speaks) at least 50% German in their everyday life.
