Ulman Lindenberger elected Vice President of the Max Planck Society
Ulman Lindenberger, Director of the Center for Lifespan Psychology, was elected as the new Vice President of the Human Sciences Section of the Max Planck Society.
Together with the also newly elected Vice Presidents Asifa Akhtar and Klaus Blaum, he will advise President Martin Stratmann and prepare important decisions for the Society. Ulman Lindenberger succeeds Angela D. Friederici, from whom he also takes over the scientific management of the Minerva Foundation for the Promotion of Scientific Cooperation with Israel. During his term of office, Ulman Lindenberger wants to strengthen the brand „Max Planck“ and give new impulses to the appointment process in the Max Planck Society.
