Max Planck Fellow Gert G. Wagner has again been recognized as one of Germany’s most influential economists in the yearly ranking published by the newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (F.A.Z.). Since 2013, the FAZ ranking has measured the performance of leading economists in terms of their media presence, citations in academic literature, and political influence.
