IAG is the newly established interdisciplinary working group ”Implications of Digitalisation on the Quality of Science Communication.“

Max Planck Fellow Gert G. Wagner was appointed as a member of the newly established interdisciplinary working group ”Implications of Digitalisation on the Quality of Science Communication“ of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences (BBAW) in collaboration with acatech – German Academy of Science and Engineering, which is scheduled to run for three years. The group will investigate the opportunities, challenges and quality requirements for institutional science communication in face of digital communication channels that permit scientists to communicate directly and personally with the public. Its aim is to provide practical knowledge and develop guidelines for science and scientific organisations, research policy and the media.
