Beate Mühlroth receives the Junior Researcher Award of the Society for Neuropsychology

Beate Mühlroth, Predoctoral Fellow at the Center for Lifespan Psychology at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, receives the Junior Researcher Award of the Society for Neuropsychology (Gesellschaft für Neuropsychology – GNP). The prize is awarded by the GNP for outstanding research work by junior scientists in the field of clinical and cognitive neuropsychology. In her distinguished research, Beate Mühlroth was able to show that age-related changes in brain structure and the neurophysiology of sleep contribute essentially to memory impairments in old age.
