Beate Mühlroth is awarded the "Becker-Carus" 2020 doctoral prize of the German Sleep Society (DGSM). In her dissertation, which she completed in 2020 at the Center for Lifespan Psychology, she investigated the relevance of age-associated changes in sleep physiology for memory processes in old age.
The prize, donated by Professor Dr. Christian Becker-Carus, serves to promote young researchers in the field of psychophysiological sleep research and sleep medicine. The prize is awarded annually by the DGSM for outstanding doctoral work in this field.
