Bahador Bahrami has been awarded a Consolidator Grant by the European Research Council (ERC)

With the ERC Consolidator Grant, the EU is supporting promising scientists.

Bahador Bahrami, visiting researcher in the Center for Adaptive Rationality, has been awarded a Consolidator Grant by the European Research Council (ERC). Funded by the European Union, ERC Consolidator Grants provide outstanding researchers embarking on an independent research career with funding of up to €2 million. Bahador Bahrami, psychologist at the LMU Munich, will use the grant to investigate how overconfidence in one’s own abilities impacts the quality of group decision making, and to develop interventions to improve the quality of collective decision making.
