Andreas Horn, Adjunct Researcher at the Center for Adaptive Rationality of the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, has been awarded the Thiemann Fellowship 2015. He has received the award for his work on deep brain stimulation, a procedure used to treat neurodegenerative disorders. The Thiemann Fellowship enables a young scientist to conduct research on Parkinson’s disease at a university or renowned research institution in Germany or abroad.
