Kerstin Maria Pahl among the newest members of "Die Junge Akademie“
A forum for interdisciplinary dialogue and innovative ideas
“Die Junge Akademie”, a joint initiative of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BBAW) and the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, fosters interdisciplinary dialogue between outstanding early- and mid-career researchers.
It offers them the opportunity to work at the intersections of the sciences, humanities, art, and society and to develop and put forward ideas about how to shape academia.
In June 2022, Kerstin Maria Pahl, postdoctoral researcher at the Center for the History of Emotions, was elected as one of ten new members to “Die Junge Akademie”.
The five-year membership will give her the chance to engage in joint interdisciplinary research projects, work in and initiate research groups, and contribute her expertise to public scientific discourse.
