Michael Geers awarded with a Fellowship of the Joachim Herz Foundation
The fellowship supports early career researchers working on interdisciplinary economic questions
Michael Geers, Predoctoral Fellow at the Center for Adaptive Rationality, has received the “Add-on Fellowship for Interdisciplinary Economics and Interdisciplinary Business Administration” of the Joachim Herz Foundation.
The foundation supports PhD students, postdocs and junior professors who work on issues with economic relevance. Fellows are supported with an amount of up to €12.500 over the course of two years.
In his doctoral research, Michael Geers seeks to better understand human behavior in online environments, particularly pertaining to misinformation and microtargeting, and to develop interventions to mitigate these challenges.
