Long Night of the Sciences - Archive
The Night of Science has been a fixed and popular part of the event calendar for the capital region since 2001. It usually takes place every year in summer. Between afternoon and midnight, visitors are granted the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of various science and research facilities in Berlin and Potsdam.
Our institute took part in the Long Night in 2010 for the first time, and had a successful debut with around 1,000 guests. The Institute also took part in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2019 with 600 visitors on average.
Here are a few examples of the feedback we received from the guests:
'Very child-friendly and everything was explained really well';
'Very versatile, very interactive, very competent, thank you!';
'Really good and interesting, like every year, and nice staff, too'.
