Would you and your children like to take part in one of our studies?

Then send us an e-mail: iSearch@mpib-berlin.mpg.de. We are always looking for children between the ages of two and fourteen who would like to participate in our studies. We include potential participants in our database and invite them to our laboratory on Dillenburger Straße. The playful experiments are tailored to the age of the children.

Research interns work on well-defined tasks related to our ongoing research projects. They do so in close collaboration with our researchers and team members. Internships typically last 3 months.

To apply, please send a statement of research interest, a curriculum vitae, high-school diploma (Abiturzeugnis), and any other related certificates electronically as a single PDF file to Laura Ziemann:

For inquiries about the research internships, please contact Laura Ziemann (, phone: 0049-30-82406-235).
