Student Research Assistant | Center for Adaptive Rationality

The Center for Adaptive Rationality directed by Ralph Hertwig at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development is seeking applicants for a position as student research assistant. We are looking for a student research assistant (Studentische Hilfskraft) to work with Dr. Florian Artinger and Dr. Ruben Arslan on research in decision-making. Dr. Artinger’s work addresses topics in behavioral economics, operations research, marketing, cognitive psychology, statistics and machine learning. Dr. Arslan studies individual differences in intelligence and risk preferences, with methods including Bayesian multilevel modelling and longitudinal questions with daily experience sampling data. Research assistants are usually employed on a basis of 60h a month. The position lasts for 6 months or longer. The preferred start date is July or August 2018.

The Center for Adaptive Rationality at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, Berlin, Germany, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Ralph Hertwig, seeks applicants for 1 Postdoctoral Position (m/f) on neural mechanisms of memory and decision making (E 13 TVöD; 39 hours/week). The position is available from August 2018 onwards, but later start dates are possible.

Studentische Hilfskraft (m/w) | Harding-Zentrum für Risikokompetenz

Das Harding-Zentrum für Risikokompetenz (Leitung Prof. Gerd Gigerenzer) am Max-Planck-Institut für Bildungsforschung in Berlin sucht für die Mitarbeit an einem Projekt zur Kompetenzbildung bei Problemen des Risikos und der Unsicherheit zum 01.07.2018 eine studentische Hilfskraft (m/w) (10 Wochenstunden). Die Stelle ist zunächst auf sechs Monate befristet.
