Research Visits

It is possible to participate in an unpaid research visit at the Center for Adaptive Behavior and Cognition. These visits are highly competitive and the placement will depend on the fit between the background of the applicant and the research conducted at the center.

Research visits are open to all students, including those enrolled at universities both within and outside of the European Union and those who are currently pursuing their doctoral degrees. For more information on the research conducted at our center please see key concepts.

For specific questions please do not hesitate to ask (see contact details on the right).

How to apply

Interested students are invited to submit a brief letter in English (maximum one page), describing their goals and interests along with their basic qualifications (e.g., school standings). In order to be considered, this letter must describe in detail how your course of studies would benefit from and fit with the ongoing research in the center. Please also include the names of 2 or 3 potential mentors whom you would like to work with and mention that you are applying for a research visit.

Along with your letter of application, please send the following documents, all preferably in electronic form, to the address on the right:

  • your curriculum vitae (in English);
  • your high school diploma;
  • transcripts of your current course of study, and, if applicable, certificates of your previous degree(s).
