The research project RHYME (Lifespan Rhythms of Memory and Cognition) in the Center for Lifespan Psychology at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, Berlin is looking for Student Employees (f/m/d) (36 – 80 Hrs. / Month) to support a longitudinal study on memory development in children aged 4 – 8. In our study, we use behavioral and neuroimaging methods to investigate how children develop memory abilities across childhood.
We offer:
- Work in a young and international team.
- Flexible working hours; gross 15.18€ or 15.84€/hour depending on qualifications.
- Insight into all stages of preparation, implementation and evaluation of developmental psychology studies.
- Training in the implementation and evaluation of complex behavioral data analyses.
We are searching for:
- Highly motivated, reliable and responsible students of psychology (all semesters) or a related subject with good English and very good German skills.
- Enjoy working with children (especially aged 4 – 8).
- Interest in neurocognitive developmental psychology / cognitive neuroscience.
- Good knowledge of methods (R, MATLAB, Python) or willingness to develop them.
- Experience in data collection for psychological studies is helpful, but not required. Experience in EEG data collection is an advantage.
- Perspective interest in working on the project for at least 1 year.
