Ernst Hellmut Vits Prize 2020 for Ute Frevert
Ute Frevert, Director of the Center for the History of Emotions, has been awarded the Ernst Hellmut Vits Prize 2020 in recognition of her exceptionally outstanding scientific achievements.

The prize, named after the long-standing chairman of the Universitätsgesellschaft Münster (Friends of Münster University), is endowed with 20,000 euros and is awarded every two years, alternating between researchers from the natural sciences or medicine and researchers from the humanities. The award ceremony, originally planned to take place on November 10, 2020, in Münster Castle, has been postponed to next year due to the corona pandemic.
