Long Night of the Sciences 2019

Education thought ahead!

+++ Education thought ahead: lectures, guided tours, hands-on experiments +++ Body in time: experimental jam session +++ Are you a good nose? Discovery games for young and old +++

Does brain jogging improve memory performance? How have emotions influenced human history? And how do we make good decisions in an increasingly complex world? At the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin-Dahlem, we research how people develop, what moves them and how they learn - from infancy to old age. In hands-on experiments, exciting lectures and numerous demonstrations, we continued to think about education together during the Long Night of Science on 15 June 2019.
