Main Focus

I am interested in investigating how sensory information and prior learned experiences interact in the formation of visual perception, and how perceptual systems adapt to varying environmental contexts. In my PhD projects, I examine how environmental factors, particularly urban versus rural environments, contribute to individual differences in susceptibility to visual illusions and the neural mechanisms underlying these effects. This research contributes to a broader understanding of how urban living shapes human cognition and how environmental experiences influence the way we perceive the physical world.
