Sensorimotor-Cognitive Couplings (SensCog)

Project of the Center for Lifespan Psychology Concluded in 2018

This project investigated lifespan differences in interactions between sensorimotor and cognitive aspects of behavior as well as lifespan differences in movement organization and coordination until 2018.

Research Topics

  • Early motor development
  • Movement variability and coordination
  • Cognitive aspects of movement behavior
  • Cognitive and motor performance in dual-task situations
  • Effects of aerobic exercise on brain and behavior
