What we offer
The research center for Adaptive Rationality is investigating various aspects of judgment and decision making. We offer you the chance to participate in an international and interdisciplinary research team. The position is to assist our research on the socio-ecological drivers of human foraging in the wild (see for more info: https://osf.io/preprints/psyarxiv/qbvp9_v2). In this project, we investigate individual and collective foraging of ice fishers in Finland using GPS logging devices to record high resolution spatial search behavior and head-worn cameras to identify behavioral states during search (e.g., drilling holes in the ice, relocating between resource patches, angling and catching fish). A core component of the activities is to analyze video data using event logging software (https://www.boris.unito.it/).
