Forschungsinteressen

Nur Givon-Benjio is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Adaptive Rationality at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, where she works with Prof. Ralph Hertwig and Prof. Stephan Lewandowsky. Her research focuses on wartime misinformation—specifically, the mechanisms underlying susceptibility to it within conflict zones and the international community. She examines how misinformation shapes public opinion on conflicts and how boosting resilience through interventions can shift attitudes on both sides toward conflict resolution. Her research spans the Israel-Gaza war, the Russia-Ukraine war, the escalation between Venezuela and the U.S., and the Myanmar Civil War.
