Administration
The administration is the central point of contact for in-house service areas and the link to research areas. It is the point of contact for all administrative, organisational and legal queries.
Core tasks include:
- The Purchasing department is responsible for procuring all goods and services and for processing invoices.
- The Budget and Accounting department supports the Institute's management with the Institute's business management. This involves planning, recording, utilising, evaluating and controlling all of the institute's financial resources in accordance with budgetary, funding and tax regulations, as well as the internal regulations of the Max Planck Society.
- The Human Resources department implements all personnel planning, recruitment and administrative measures in accordance with established procedures.
- Risk and compliance management.
- As well as reception, transportation services, materials management, and mail management.
The Administration plays a key role in helping the Institute members to focus on their core task of research.
