Library and Research Information

The Library and Research Information primarily provides services to the scientists of the Institute. It is open to the public as a reference library.
For this purpose, it supplies printed and electronic media and information in the scientific fields of cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, history, science of education, and sociology, thus meeting the needs of the Institute's research profile.
The collection contains around 223.000 volumes, several printed and numerous electronic periodicals and databases.

information for visitors

We kindly ask external guests who would like to use our Library on a daily or hourly basis to report to the circulation desk.
We do not lend books to external guests.
However, you do have the possibility to make digital copies at no charge. For this purpose you have to bring your own USB flash drive. If desired you can print out your digital copies in black and white at the cost of 10 cent per page.
