Long Night of the Sciences 2022

  • Date: Jul 2, 2022
  • Location: Max Planck Institute for Human Development, Lentzeallee 94, 14195 Berlin

Do we get smarter as we sleep? Will we soon be able to read minds? How can we recognise fake or misleading information? What is Artificial Intelligence? How do babies and toddlers learn to navigate their surroundings? How universal are emotions? These are just some of the many questions that await you at our institute.

Learn about our research through interactive events and discover the fascinating architecture of our building and the diverse plant life in the MPIB garden on one of our guided tours. There are plenty of hands-on activities for younger visitors too – join our scavenger hunt to go on an exploratory quest through the institute! Click here for our kids’ programme (mostly in German).

There is a comprehensive English-language offering for our international guests as well.

You can now find the full programme online on the Long Night of the Sciences’ website! Or browse comfortably in our program booklet (PDF)!
