Main Focus

I am interested in domain specificity in learning and generalisation. Here at the MPIB I am researching if infants and children learn some content and categories more readily than others, and whether there is equity in how they generalise this learned information. Specifically, i'm testing whether different types of information, such as danger and edibility, are more or less readily generalised to other objects. To test this I use methods from developmental psychology and theoretical perspectives from biology, anthropology along with psychology.
