Main Focus

Mirjam Jenny is a cognitive decision scientist, science communicator, and networker at the interface between science, society and politics. Her goal is to empower individuals and organizations to make evidence–informed, risk savvy, and sustainable decisions and to communicate these effectively. Her areas of focus are climate and health protection, public and planetary health and science communication.
Mirjam Jenny is currently building the Science2Society unit at the University of Erfurt’s health communication department. She recently funded and ran the science communication unit at the Robert Koch Institute and supported communications at the WHO Hub for Pandemic and Epidemic Intelligence in Berlin. She consults governmental and non-governmental organizations. Her work has been covered in national and international media and awarded with the Otto Hahn Medal by the Max Planck Society.
