Jury of "Das politische Buch" recommends Ute Frevert's Kapitalismus, Märkte und Moral as being especially worth reading

Ute Frevert, Director of the Center for the History of Emotions, was added to the list of authors of books particularly worth reading in 2020 by the expert jury of "Das politische Buch" with her book Kapitalismus, Märkte und Moral. The nominated books critically address current socio-political issues and make their content accessible to a broad audience. With this award, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung recognises the great importance of political literature for vibrant democracy. This year, the jury recommended five further books out of the 190 submissions.
