Seminar: Reimagining History with Conversational Digital Twins

If you could have a coffee with any historical figure, who would it be? Thanks to AI, such encounters are now possible. Conversational digital twins enable us to bring historical figures to life, offering interactive and immersive experiences that allow us to engage with the past in a deeply personal way. Users can ask questions, explore new perspectives, and interact with history like never before.

This talk will explore the design and technical development of these digital twins, their potential to make history more accessible and relevant, and the ethical considerations surrounding their use, including issues of authenticity, historical accuracy, and emotional impact.
