Research Interests:

My current research focuses on methods to harness the wisdom of the inner crowd, an approach called dialectical bootstrapping. Guiding questions are: Do individuals have an inner crowd? If so, how can individuals harness the wisdom of their inner crowd? And what are the environmental boundary conditions? Furthermore, I am interested in investigating the robustness of judgment aggregation strategies on the collective level especially when decisions are influenced by conflicts of interest.
