TRANSITION - The Transition from Primary to Secondary School: Regional, Social, and Ethnic/Cultural Disparities in Educational Equity

The Transition Study is a nationwide investigation of the transition from primary to secondary school in Germany.

The Transition Study is conducted within the framework of the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS 2007), and is a collaborative project of the Max Planck Institute for Human Development (Center for Educational Research: Director Prof. Dr. Jürgen Baumert) and the Georg August University of Göttingen (Prof. Dr. Rainer Watermann).
