The Center for Environmental Neuroscience at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin is looking for a student research assistant (f/m/d) (80 h / month).
The aim of our research is to understand how the physical environment affects the individual. We prescribe to the hypothesis that environmental factors (e.g., air quality, noise, green space) influence brains and behaviors of those exposed.
The set of tasks for the student research assistant will primarily comprise automation of data collection and processing pipelines for behavioral and psychological research paradigms as well as development of dashboards for data visualization and research reports.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program at a German university (psychology, neuroscience, business informatics, computer science, data science, or a related field)
- Programming experience (e.g., Python, R, C++)
- Knowledge of experimental research workflows
- Strong personal motivation, commitment and ability to work independently
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Fluency in English
