The research project ATLAS (Mapping Early Memory Trajectories Across Species) in the Center for Lifespan Psychology at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, Berlin is looking for: Student Employees (f/m/d) (36 – 80 Hrs. / Month) to support different studies on memory development and brain plasticity in children aged 3-4 and young adults.
We offer:
- Work in a young and international team.
- Flexible working hours; gross 15.18€ or 15.84€/hour depending on qualifications.
- Insight into all stages of preparation, implementation and evaluation of developmental psychology studies.
- Training in conducting behaviour and MRI.
We are searching for:
- Highly motivated, reliable and responsible students of psychology, neuroscience (all semesters) or a related subject with good English and very good German skills.
- Enjoy working with children (especially aged 3-4).
- Interest in neurocognitive developmental psychology / cognitive neuroscience.
- Good knowledge of methods (R, MATLAB, Python) or willingness to develop them.
- Experience in data collection for psychological studies is helpful, but not required. Experience in MRI data collection is an advantage.
- Perspective interest in working on the project for at least 1 year.
The earliest possible entry date is May 1, 2026.
