Working Opportunity for Post Docs

The postdoc fellowships are announced internationally; the senior research scientists are directly appointed by the President of the Max Planck Society. All senior research scientists receive their own research funds, which enable them to pursue their projects independently. The term of their contracts is five years and can be extended.

Currently there are three Max Planck Reseach Groups at the MPI for Human Development:

Max Planck Research Group "Affect Across the Lifespan"
Max Planck Research Group "Felt Communities? Emotions in European Music Performances"
Max Planck Research Group "Reading Education and Development" (REaD)

Research Groups at the MPS

If you have already received your doctorate degree, there is the opportunity of working in a Max Planck Research Group. Or, if your qualifications are first-rate: you could head a Max Planck Research Group at one of the institutes.
